Indivisible Winter Events: Newsletter

Hi Fremont County-

We know it is a busy time of year for a lot of folks, but we want you to know there are a few events going on.

Sunday, December 21 at 3pm the LGBTQ spoke (QUILTBAG) is hosting a Winter Solstice Gathering. Bring your friends, a dish to share, and let’s all enjoy some good company and fun games. Email us for more info.

Saturday, December 27 at 1pm is the Fremont County CO Indivisible Community gathering. This potluck event will be happening the 4th Saturday every month, so feel free to mark it off on your calendars. Come make new friends, keep up on what Indivisible is doing, and share your feedback.

Tuesday, January 6 at 6pm is Blue Crew Social Hour. This social event is the first Tuesday each month at World’s End Brewing (331 Main St, Cañon City). Note that they have moved across 4th St.

Action You Can Take:

  • Email our Representative and Senators to demand an investigation into Hegseth’s extrajudicial bombings of ships in the Caribbean and Pacific.  Indivisible has a link with a letter you can send HERE

And in case you don’t know how to contact our federal representatives, here are links to their websites with contact info.

Representative: Brittany Pettersen

Senators: Michael Bennet and John Hickenlooper

Our Elections spoke is gearing up for the 2026 midterm elections. And the Community Outreach spoke is working on some volunteer opportunities in Fremont County as well. Feel free to respond to this email if you want to get more involved and I can get you in touch with the spoke leaders.

I hope to see you at one of our upcoming social events.

Stay safe and warm!
