Hello Friends, 


A key component of Indivisible events is that they are non-violent. With tensions in the world growing more tense, we are having a day of training with the help of Freedom Trainers and Movement Catalyst to help us all learn skills to help de-escalate while fighting authoritarianism.

9AM – 3PM

Sunflower Bank (9th & Hwy 50 in Cañon City) Conference Room in the basement

Anti-Authoritarian Training including Know Your Rights and De-Escalation Tactics.

Light breakfast and lunch will be provided.

Please respond letting us know you will attend so we can get a headcount to ensure we have enough food and handouts. You are also welcome to attend part of the day if you cannot be there all day (you will need to email us to get your food order in)

Saturday March 28th No Kings 3 Protest

11 AM – 1 PM at 9th & Hwy 50

We encourage you to bring signs, flags, and friends. You can click on the link above to register for the event on Mobilize. We need to show that we will not roll over to this authoritarian regime. We will not settle for a United States that is an embarrassment on the world stage. So if you feel passionately about free speech, due process, no wars, affordability, or any number of things – you are not alone and we welcome you!

Saturday March 28th Community Gathering Potluck

1 PM – 3 PM at The Hive (729 Main St in Cañon City)

Chat with members of the community while sharing food, catch up on group activities, and share feedback. We will have some coloring pages and blank postcards for folks to write our legislators.

Call to Action:

  1. Say NO to ICE warehouses in Colorado
    Let our Senators and Representative know we will not sit by while ICE builds concentration camps in our state. People across the country have been putting pressure on politicians and property owners that prevent the sale of commercial spaces to DHS. Call Senators Hickenlooper and Bennet and Representative Pettersen and ask them to do everything they can to block the warehousing of humans in Colorado.   2. Say NO to the SAVE Act
    The SAVE Act (in all its forms) is not a voter protection bill, it is essentially a poll tax to help further suppress votes. MAGA wins depend on low voter turn out and they are trying every trick they can to stay in power. Call Senators Hickenlooper and Bennet’s offices to tell them to vote NO. (202) 224-3121
